1.      Societas:

The group of people that live in society and they have its own goals and purpose. So each of the people in the group has royalty to each other and it will formally establish a law, rule only worked in their group and based on understanding.

2.      Res publica:

The concept that believes, conflict is needed in society, because community has the potential to attack presence hegemony with different articulation and evolve the hegemony to the next step.

3.      Hegemony:

Hegemony is the concept about ideology that crated by Antonio Gramsci. This ideology is grand idea, which work in social aspect and believed as the Truth. Mouffe believe this hegemony is based by the contingency, so the concept of the Truth is become relative, and evolving as long there is an antagonism inside the society.    

 

4.      Antagonistic:

Antagonistic is the concept about the difference in articulation in hegemony. This idea only can work if there is an opposition in domination hegemony, where the the conflict is really happen and realizing that different is something essential.

5.      Welfare state:

Is a social order that based from John Rawls. Rawls said the government must give the basic primary goods to all level of citizen. This primary good is not from the equality of wealth but by chance.

6.      Radical democracy:

This democracy is, where a person still get their identity in the state but also contributing in society. This democracy is focus about, how we as citizen can be heard and participates with our freedom to argument about every policy and politics that happen to their society.

7.      Veil of ignorance:

Is the theory from John Rawls where each person is consider doesn’t have any knowledge about own ability, like class, wealth, position, intellectual, religion etc. This theory will allow each person to think and compose the concept of justice in equal way. Mouffe think that this theory will useless when the veil is lift off, because each person will back to get its own interest.

8.      Plurality:

Plurality is condition that considers each person has its own different and impossible to generalize one universal idea to everything. It can because by background, society, etc. this concept eventually let the antagonism alive, because each one have it own interest in society.

9.      Communitarian:

Is an idea where the priority of interest is focus for the community, and ignore the interest for individual, because human being all cannot live without community. In Mouffe perspective, communitarian is problem is ignoring the identity of individual, and it will end the criticism.

10.  Representative democracy:

The way of democracy, that we as citizen chose a person that will accommodate our aspiration in government politic. Mouffe think that the problem of this democracy is the limitation of ability the representative to accommodate all the aspiration of the citizen, there for as a citizen we still need to contribute with the supervision their activity.   

11.  Associational socialism:

The kind of socialism, where the decision is not based on one idea of communality and generality. But is based from the acceptances plurality, autonomy of enterprises and collective body.

12.  Articulation:

Articulation is the the believe that each person or grup accepted as the truth. Because each person and grup has its own background this articulation will lead to radical difference, and will make us accepted difference something natural.

13.  Citizenship:

Citizenship that Mouffe want is the citizens is actively contributing in politic activity at the society, but still keep the aspect of plurality and identity of individualism. This idea is the mixing from libertarian concept. 

14.  Political philosophy:

This political philosophy that Mouffe believe is the idea of conflict, where conflict is the way to make political improve. Is different from other political idea where we searching the consensus, especially Rawls. In this political philosophy we accept the different and understanding any possibility can be happened in this plurality.

15. Rights Over The Goods :

This concept is from John Rawls, he said the individual right was more important than the common good. For Mouffe the problem is is not the purpose of this idea, Rawls misunderstanding that the equality and liberty is moral value, but for Mouffe it is a political problem and that mean is only can be get by struggle and conflict from articulation.
